Lace City Chorus is highly regarded as one of the premier women’s barbershop choruses in Europe, having won the Sweet Adelines Quartet of Nations regional championships on seven occasions, most recently in May 2023. These successes have led to the chorus competing internationally and firmly establishing Lace City as one of the top choruses in the world. The chorus currently has around 70 singing members drawn from communities all over the East Midlands. They are women of all ages, from all walks of life. What they all have in common is a love of singing together, performing and competing.
